I found it very odd how John got so defensive when Larry was asking about some of the details regarding the sequence of events that morning and John got agitated saying "we don't know, we've been through this a hundred times." It's like, John, you're in the middle of writing your book DOI yet you can't even recall some basic events the morning your daughter goes missing and is ultimately found dead in your basement? I'm sure the specifics of that day are forever ingrained in his memory. Even Patsy seemed to be a little put off by Larry's questioning.

I assume I'm not alone on this but I have always found it extremely odd how poised the two of them are in their television appearances while discussing their murdered and sexually abused child. Just doesn't add up to me. Most parents, mothers especially, would be in tears the entire time; but not John and Patsy. It's like they're discussing their car getting stolen or house being vandalized.Gumshoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01547143220583770679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6494242281396312957.post-68846491504888450832017-02-18T07:29:04.895-05:002017-02-18T07:29:04.895-05:00The "victim advocates" brought in bagels...The "victim advocates" brought in bagels and turned a crisis into a catered event. Okay, so this is odd - this article. I do remember now that the social worker asked Burke what he said to his father after he told him JB was dead. It was "where did you find her body?" It's a value judgement on my part to think this does not show feeling or caring. But taken another way, it could be he knew where she was struck (or strangled), but not where she was "moved."
