Perhaps petition the governor (is he up for re-election, by chance?) for appointment of a Special Prosecutor. I'd stay away from Stan Garnett altogether.
CCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6494242281396312957.post-81775653453846054832015-11-12T16:05:16.083-05:002015-11-12T16:05:16.083-05:00That's an interesting thought. However, a petition to indict John could easily be seen as harassment and is not likely to get results, as the DA has made it clear he won't be swayed by popular opinion, but only by new evidence. And new evidence can only be obtained, it seems to me, through some fearless investigative reporting.

Any fearless investigative reporters out there? Ulbowitz and Foster were just inept in their analyses and BPD should not have relied on an inexact science in any case. There were rumblings about Lockheed Martin, a defense contractor, and their potential connection to Haddon, which were enhanced in 2010 when JR went to work for Mike Bynum's uranium mining company in Utah, because the government is the primary end user of uranium. As far as I know it never even reached the level of full-blown conspiracy theory, just random mumbling. I think that uneasiness, coupled with JR's widely publicized ruling out, left me with the impression that PR had to have been involved, and I was stuck there for years, when I thought about it at all. Then I found Doc's blog.

I think JR continues his p.r. campaign of lies and disinformation, and most people are left with that and with their negative first impressions of PR. JR was initially drawn to PR's glamour - a friend at the time described her as "his Jackie O". He sneaked around on his first wife for two years for sex. Who knows what he indulged in during those trips to Amsterdam? There was an alleged affair, quickly covered up or paid off, with a woman he had dress up in glam wear. PR acknowledged they had no sex life after her cancer treatment, and that's when JBR began wearing those inappropriate costumes and makeup. JR's narcissism and attitude of entitlement permitted him to take whatever he needed, from whomever was available.

Homicide detectives agree that murder is about sex, money or revenge/anger. This one was about sex. Then I read his initial police statement, where the deceptive side of him is very clear. He makes a point to tell the police I took melatonin that night because I wanted to get to "sleep fast," that extra emphasis seems a little "thou dost protest." In addition when asked how he broke the window in the basement, he "thinks" he used his foot, did not really remember, how can you not remember how you broke a window to your home? He remembered when it was, that he took his pants off, but the actual breaking he cant remember? And then he admits going into the basement before 10 am and closed the window latch and not saying anything until months later, why on earth would he withhold that information? I wish a new investigation was launched and the case looked at with a fresh pair of eyes. John lied, immediately and continually, about the window, reading to the kids, trying to leave town for "business" an hour after body discovered, lied to Barbara Walters ten days ago about being interviewed extensively by PD, about the pageant videos being "home movies", about the intruder in Boulder nine months after JBR. He just lies and lies, smoothly, blandly, with panache.

Jonbenet was sexually abused. It was chronic. Then a gentleman, one of the smartest people I ever met, explained to me why he thought PDI. He was convinced it was Patsy because there is a thin line between love and hate and Patsy was obsessed with JBR. Over the years I have been torn between Patsy and Burke. You are changing my mind about John. Yes, it makes the most sense. But he always seemed so smooth, so un-ruffled. Like he had nothing to hide. And I've read that Burke also abused animals, including violence against the family dog. That's a red flag. But I don't know if that's true. Any findings pertaining to ethnic origin have never been made public in any case.

Of course, the fact that the same DNA was found in three places means little, as transfer from some innocent source is still possible, and in fact the most likely explanation. Once DNA from whatever source got onto her hands, it could easily have been transferred from her hands to her pullups, her panties, anything she was in contact with. The bottom line: DNA from an attacker not wearing gloves would have been found all over the murder scene -- which was not the case; and if the attacker were wearing gloves, none would have been found at all, certainly no touch DNA.DocGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17359004200002936544noreply@blogger.com
